The Bear at Hodnet is an 16th century coaching set in the pretty village of Hodnet not far from Market Drayton. This quirky inn has a wide range of facilities for private and corporate guests.
The building has the enticing character of a bygone age whilst providing the comforts and amenities of the 21st century. To make your visit even more special there is a friendly ghost called Jasper and a former Bear Pit with secret passages leading to the village church and Hodnet Hall.
Recently restored, the pub and restaurant provide a warm and inviting ambience for any occasion. Whether its a celebration or a quick bite, the restaurant, with it's oak floors and antique oak beams, will provide you with the ideal venue.
There are 8 en-suite cosy bedrooms designed for your comfort and relaxation. There are double rooms, single rooms and family rooms. In our annexe there is a suite suitable for 4 people with space for a cot.
