Alfonso and Emma's 'Casa Ruiz' NEW Wine List HERE

The menu at Casa Ruiz is based on traditional Spanish Tapas favourites such as Patatas Bravas (crispy potatoes in a spicy tomato sauce) and Chirizo al Vino ( fresh Paprika sausage cooked in Rioja Red wine). Daily specials are also available along side the daily menu.

Chef Patron Alfonso, prides himself on creating sim,ple dishes, for flavour, not just for looks "Spanish cooking is all about the experience, the atmosphere, and of course the long lasting flavour - It should last almost as long as the memory" he adds. Specialising in marinating meats, and slow cooking his dishes such as meats balls, or butternut squash with almonds, you will really appreciate the depth of ingredients. Alongside this, Spanish cooking is also about freshness, and locking in those flavours, and vitamins. Flash frying fresh asparagus, Gambas (large prawns) or deep frying Croquettes filled with Manchego Cheese and Green Pepper - you are spoilt for choice.

Spanish Tortilla - Not to be confused with the Mexican corn variants, but traditional Spanish Tortilla, are more like omelette's, made from 4 simple ingredients, eggs, good olive oil, onions and potatoes, and the rest is added such as Chorizo and Spinach or Courgette and Red Peppers. Each variant is just £3.50, and ample for 2!
