In 2001 Alfonso joined Stratord Upon Avon Catering college. Alfonso worked as a chef in several well respected establishments including Billesley Manor and Nailcote Hall.
Eventually Alfonso's charismatic personality and customer service skills forced him out of the kitchen and into the Front of House where he remained for many years working as the Assistant Restaurant Manager of the Michelin starred Simpsons of Birmingham and also as the Restaurant Manager at the revolutionary Alimentum in Cambridge.
In 2008 Alfonso realised that his love for food, wine and hospitality was enough to allow him to open his own "joint". After a great deal of searching for the right venue Alfonso has found the old Bella Roma Restaurant in Bridgnorth high street. He fell in love with it instantly and the rest is history...
