My fiance and I visited this restaurant earlier in the year on a Thursday evening. We both like Thai food and have eaten previously at good Thai restaurants in Birmingham, London and in Thailand itself. On entering the restaurant, we were taken back by how quiet it was, not because of lack of customers, although this was the case, but because you could have heard a pin drop. There were only us two and another couple sat not far away, who because it was so quiet felt compelled to talk to us. We could hear eachother's conversations. The service was friendly and the waiter/owner tried hard but could not tell me a great deal when I enquired about ingredients in the different curries on the menu. There was no wine list and the house white was cheap and bland. However... the food was great!, the ingredient in the starters were a little on the cheap side but tasty and the mains we had (red curry and a yellow curry) were fabulous and good quality, certainly the high point of the evening. I have since spoken with some friends who have also dined here and all of them said the same about how quiet it was in there and needing some kind of music to give it ambience or atmosphere. A lot of special offers have been put on to try and woo customers, but in my opinion, especially as Bridgnorth is not short of customers willing to spend a few bob, more emphasis should be put on quality and improving the atmosphere/experience instead. Id certainly be willing to give it another try in the future if I hear its improved.
