Set in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, opposite the Museum of Iron and the historic Darby Furnace, the traditional Coalbrookdale Inn offers a warm and friendly welcome. This Grade II listed pub has been serving real ale to the ironworkers of Coalbrookdale since the 1830s and now greets locals and visitors alike.

The Bar ~ Taking pride in his real ales, and his local recognitions, Danny serves a wide range, and is fully informed as to their origin, and serving the perfect pint. Enjoy fine Real Ale served from seven taps and freshly prepared home-cooked food, readily available either in the bar or Lounge/Dining room. Brews range from locals such as Three Tuns, Salopian and Woods to Timothy Taylor, Ossett and Caledonian.

Soak up the atmosphere and banter amongst the locals - no jukebox or fruit machine noise here! A real fire, quarry tiled floor in the bar area and barstaff who know their history as well as their beers complete the picture.

A former CAMRA Pub of the Year, 'the Dale' is everything a traditional English Public House should be and is the ideal place to enjoy on your visit to Ironbridge or if you live in Shropshire. As well as being close to the main Ironbridge Gorge Museum sites, it is also close to the Open Air Museum of Steel Sculpture with its large and striking exhibits both indoors and out.

Restaurant ~ Set of the main bar, the restaurant is intimate, & traditional. The food is prepared by Dawn, who is experienced in cheffing across the uk, and now has the opportunity to practice her passion in her own kitchen. For a sample menu click here .
