Having worked as a chef in the South, including London for 14 years, and been finalists in Young Chef of the year, and enjoyed awards with Michael Roux. Paul knows a thing or two about food, and certainly shares his knowledge with the menu.
Paul says ‘with the wide choice of fresh ingredients available in Shropshire, we delight in putting together our menu. The specials change daily with simple, but hopefully intriguing ingredients to really compliment the flavours of the local produce’ He continues ‘Our team share our passions for food, and often try new ideas to challenge our knowledge, and delight our customers’
One of Paul and Anna’s latest ambitions was to create a local shop in the grounds of the Feathers however, the plan became too difficult to accomplish without a grant so instead of giving up hope they have just moved the idea inside the Feathers. The Feathers Shop List’ has only just begun with a selection of fine Local products for sale, including Wenlock Edge Farm, The Ludlow Nut Co and The organic smokehouse, not forgetting there own selection of their own homemade sauces, famous truffles and many other exciting foods, not forgetting the wholesale wine list, including wines from Shropshire based Classic Wines Direct ! Internet hamper orders will be available soon!
More details of local produce on sale at the Feather's will be launched soon...Why not visit & enjoy it in the comfort of the restaurant first!
