Whilst on holiday in Much Wenlock, we had visited this pub for a drink and found it very friendy and a nice pint, a few days later we returned for a meal,VERY disappointing! There were 5 of us who wanted a meal, and 2 who ordered a side dish each. The communication between the bar staff and the kitchen was non-existent,we wernt told that certain dishes were unavailable until some of our order had started to arrive, service was shocking, took nearly 2 hours to feed us all, food not brilliant, attitude of 1 member of staff rather rude. Would not recommend.

A nice old school pub with a good range of beers. However, the food service left much to be desired. Due to a lack of comunication between the kitchen/bar staff (02/12/10), the news that certain dishes were unavailable, was not comunicated untill we had begun eating. Also, the head barman, was more than a little haughty and rude over the subject. That said, a refund, when asked for was quickly recieved. A little dissapointing!
