After ringing to say we would be late and arriving just at the end of evening service we were warmly welcomed. Without any prompting we were reassured that despite our lateness we would not be rushed. The food was delicious, well presented and the service was excellent. If you are ever in the area this restaurant is a must.

During our holiday stay in England this was one of the best places we stayed in. The food especially was delicious. If we ever pass through the region again we would hope to stay once more.

The food was superb, it has been very tastefully decorated, and the staff were polite and very knowledgeable. We will definately return.

A thouroughly enjoyable evening. Fabulous food in a beautifully restored dining room. The staff were very helpful, and the open fire made it on a cold night.
