The Peacock Inn, Near Tenbury Wells has now been 'reclaimed' by local farmer, and budding restaurauteur, Martin Visser, who plans to return the Peacock to its former glory as a 2AA Rosette Restaurant, with 5 cosy bedrooms.
Situated in the Teme Valley, offering an inviting atmosphere. In the locals Oak beamed entrance and bar, with low ceilings, which make you feel very cosy, you can enjoy local real ales, or selection of wines by the glass. In the Winter it offers a roaring open fire, as well as a cosy, high ceilinged back room, with soft window seats and sofas, and in the Summer(!) months you can sit outside with views of the valley.
The separate restaurant offers relaxed dining, with a seperate lounge, fire, and bar. The food is locally sourced from Matin's own fields, as well as produce from across the region, and specialist suppliers.
If you are passing through, or wish to stay a few days, call Martin & team to arrange your visit...& watch this space as we add more information on the Peacock Inn.
