The food was tasty but there was not much of it to taste. We visited on a Tuesday evening when the restaurant was accommodating a steady flow of diners but the service was not geared for even those covers. Our waitress obviously did not want to be at work that evening. Having been to the Loch Fyne in Henley-on-Thames, we were excited to see one open in Shrewsbury. So much so that we took our neighbours to share the experience. It was an embarrassing disappointment.

Attentive, friendly staff, freshly prepared food and good value made for an enjoyable evening meal. Shrewsbury is fortunate to have Fish Works.
