Welcome

 Sawadee…Welcome!

Thai Arts Bridgnorth is tucked away down St Mary's Street in Bridgnorth, & is the authentic Thai experience of 'Thai Arts'.

Owned by a family team who  have been cheffing around the world for over 30 years. 'Somphong' who is the head chef and owner has worked in top restaurants, and then was asked to work within a top restaurant in Israel, has now moved to England to apply his trade to up and coming Bridgnorth. His favourite dish 'Tom Yam', which is stir fried chicken, pork  or beef with basil and spices, is now available to the local residents, alongside his extensive authentic menu. Reasonably priced dishes, and friendly hospitality make this the perfect place to visit for a relaxing and very  tasty meal  - their aim to make your visit as welcoming, relaxing and authentic as possible.

From the moment you enter this small fronted unassuming building, you will be amazed at the size inside and the authenticity of the decor. The walls and tables are decked with artifacts from Thailand. Wood carvings adorn the entrance, and walls, with heavy Thai mirrors and pictures throughout. The tables each carry fresh Thai flowers, candles, and heavy weight mango wood chairs, which all add to the experience.

Upstairs the theme continues with further carvings, complemented by the original oak beams, and added to by the Thai flowers, and the surprising larger size, than downstairs. For summer months there is the terrace garden for buffets, and pre & post dinner drinking.

Whether you have been lucky enough to experiences the pleasures, flavours, smiles, and aromas of Thailand, and their unrivalled hospitality, or if you just enjoy the fresh flavours of their food, or even if this is your first time, the team will always make your visit special. The description of the food is always very detailed and helpful.

There is also a wide selection of world wines, house wines from £9.95, also available by the glass, which offer a flavour complimenting the dishes, and intense flavours of the ingredients.

The Food

You are guaranteed to leave with one of our smiles"

Thailand has for centuries been at the heart of an Asian culinary cross roads, where influences from the cuisine of India, China & Malaysia have been embodied to help give us the distinct cuisine we see today.

When traditionally prepared and served to authentic recipe, a dish can be quite hot (spicy), although we generally use only a moderate proportion of chilli, we still endeavour to prepare as authentic a dish as possible, so we considered it appropriate to include a chilli guide to indicate which are some of the hotter dishes.

For those experiences Thai food for the first time, we have attempted to describe each dish for you, however, please ask a member of staff should you require any assistance in making your choice or require alteration of a dish to suit your particular preference.

See Our Menus above for more details.
