The Jolly Frog in Leintwardine is now owned & run by successful local team Jayne & Martyn Emsen. Alongside their much acclaimed lodge restaurant Old Downton Lodge, just up the road.

The Jolly Frog has been recently fully refurbished, and reinvented into a family friendly restaurant. As part of the refurbishment, they have imported a lovely wood burning oven to ensure that the food has an authentic Mediterranean flavour and taste.

If you are unaware they originally owned ‘The Jolly Frog’ from 2000 when they purchased the premises. They then were offered Old Downton Lodge, and now return with their own Personal Touch.

Authentic French Country Cuisine ~ The menu is a reassuring blend of French Country Cuisine, and Italian favourites, using authentic ingredients. From the moment you enter you could be enjoying a relaxing visit to a 'descovery' country restaurant, somewhere in Europe. Regular Gourmet Nights are held for the FULL experience. Outside Decking & Stunning Views ~ In the Spring and Summer months, enjoy the stunning views of the Teme Valley, from the high decking, with a cool beer and selection of fresh fish.
