Wenlock Edge Inn, Loving Restoration

Welcome to our holding page, while we update our website...Now fully re-opened following a loving restoration, the wenlokc edge inn offers a wide slection of real ales (A member of CAMRA) fine wines, and Belgian Beers..

After lacking in TLC over recent years, new owners have been busy bringing the bar, snug, and restaurant back to its former glory, and brightening up the paintwork, restoring the wood floors and opening up the fireplace.

Bar - As part of the refurbishment, they have added new lines for more real ales, Continental lagers, and have created an exciting new wine list, with many by the glass, and bottles from just £10.95.

Food - The food is lovingly created by Paul Ryder (Previously achieving 2 AA Rosettes for his food at Stretton Hall, Church Stretton) and ably served by his wife, Shropshire born Emma, who also played a very important role in achieving their Rosettes.

The menu is  traditional British pub food, from premium bar snacks, all the way up to great local steaks (with their hand-cut fat chips)- also lobster on our selected fish nights (Thursdays), and occasionally daily fish board (depending on season). Using local and regional produce, they will be holding special events, where you can meet their local suppliers.

Rooms - 'The Edge' is a great place to base yourself if you are on a leisure break, or even if you don't want a taxi and want to enjoy the setting, and of course a few glasses of wine!
Our Country style bedrooms available from £50 per double & will be ready in the next few weeks.

History....Can you Help? We are trying to find out as much history as possible, on the Wenlock Edge Inn, and if you know any snippets of information, either from the recent or distant past, we'd love to hear from you. Please go to our 'Contacts' page above, & get in touch...You never know, you may even appear on our new website coming soon, or on one of our walls in the pub!

Opening...Call and see them after Bank Holiday & let them know what you think.
